A higher being of happiness

This is the fourth post in my self happiness series. I hope everyone has found some things I write about to be relatable. In the comments if you would like to write a little something that you have learned or if you have tried out any of my tips that would be awesome.
I want you all to remember these posts are my opinion only, all tips might not apply to your life. This topic might be touchy for some people. Today I will be writing about Religion, beliefs, and believing in a higher being.
Recently, this past weekend I went away to a church based camp. I went along with the YoungLife club, here at my college Washburn University.
If you know what YoungLife is, you know that I am a Christian. This blog post will NOT only be about Christianity so if you don't believe in that keep reading anyways.
Something I learned this past weekend that is going to stick with me forever would be I am not labeling myself as a "Christian" anymore. I will call myself a Jesus follower instead. There are so many preconceived notions that come with the word Christianity. These pre-concieved notions include political opinions and opinions on our country. With this being said Christianity is not the only religion that has preconceived notions.
With college being an important time of life with trying to find out who you really are, get a degree, and keep your life together you can get lost at times. Life has it's highs and lows, and at those highs and lows I'm sure everyone has many questions about life.
     Such as:

  • What is my life purpose?
  • Who created the world?
  • Why am I here?
I have had these questions come up many times in my life. Specifically more so in my college career, because I am trying to find myself. I wanted these answers, and I can't tell you the exact answers to these questions for yourself. What I can tell you is how to maybe find them. Who created the world? This is either a scientific or religious answer, do your research form your own opinion. I ask you to form your opinion on who created us then answers will come following.

I truly believe part of your self happiness in college is forming your own opinions about these questions.

Until next time my friends.
